How do Black Heads differ from acne?

 What is Zeno?

Zeno is an acne clearing device. It is a hand-held, portable electronic device that claims to “make pimples disappear fast”. Zeno is for people with mild to moderate inflammatory acne.

Pros:

-Small, hand-held for travel, thin, and not heavy at all.
-Easy to use with simple instructions.
-You get 90 uses before you have to replace the cartridge (also a con).

Cons:

-Price! At over $200 it is extremely expensive.
-The treatments are painful.
-If you have sensitive skin, you my feel some burning.
-Replacement cartrige is $30+.

Conclusion

Zeno is an expensive ‘band aid’ solution to treat acne. It doesn’t treat acne at the source. It also doesn’t work on blackheads or whiteheads.

For the price of Zeno, you can stock up on some of the best acne treatments available and still have money for a nice (non greasy) dinner.

What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is the exfoliation process that removes the uppermost layer of dead skin cells from the face, chest, hands, back and other areas of the body.

There are various ways to get a microdermabrasion from facial cloths and home kits, or by using a series of all natural skin care products. These skin care products yield the best results. When looking for a skin care product, make sure that it contains no harsh soaps or chemicals. The reason to avoid harsh chemicals is that when these dead skin cells are removed your skin may be exposed to these harsh chemical or soaps that may leave a rash on your face.

What are the Benefits of Microdermabrasion?

• Microdermabrasion leaves skin with a fresher, more glowing look.

It hurts to look at pictures of cystic acne, let alone have it. Cystic acne is a rare condition in which acne develops into small cysts. They are not cysts in the true sense of the word, but rather small nodules of inflammation that have the appearance of a boil. Cystic acne is formed when the oil ducts become clogged and infected. This type of acne is difficult to treat, but curable.

WARNING: if you have cystic acne and it is left untreated, it will leave lifelong scars. Please take the time and treat it properly.
