RetinA | RetinA for Acne Treatment
What is RetinA?
RetinA (tretinoin) is the acidic form of Vitamin-A. Like Alpha Hydroxy Acids (most often used as the 2nd step in all 3-Step-Acne Systems) RetinA is a chemical exfoliant (it unclogs pores). It’s phenomenal with blackheads, and so-so with all other types of acne.
Downsides of RetinA
It’s new, and they don’t know how it works. I don’t know about you, but that scares the bejezus out of me. An acid that melts callogen like a blowtorch can’t be good on your skin, much less your overall health. Preliminary side effects include dryness, redness, itching and burning (we’re used to these ones aren’t we?) and finally, thinning of the skin.
RetinA Conclusion
We do not recommend RetinA because of dangerous side effects.
The most popular RetinA product for acne include RetinA Micro. Our top 5 Rated Acne Products will do all that Retin A does, without the side effects.
